Job Summary
Processes weekly payroll, off-cycle payments, and incentive payments. Assists partners with payroll matters, including time clock issues, time transfers, reports, paid time off requests, etc. Processes and reviews W-2 forms annually.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Reviews daily time reports and adjusts as needed.
- Processes weekly payroll. Reviews wages computed and corrects errors to ensure payroll accuracy.
- Records and processes changes affecting net wages, including exemptions, vacations, bonuses, wage garnishments, and various other deductions.
- Responds to payroll related questions via phone or email.
- Prepares and files federal and state payroll tax reports.
- Processes and reviews W-2 forms annually.
- Processes employee travel expense reimbursements.
- Performs administrative tasks as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Intermediate knowledge of payroll policies and procedures.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Basic knowledge of SAP reporting and transactional applications preferred.
- Ability to effectively enter data using ten-key configuration.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret information.
- Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to research information, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to learn new technology systems, methods, and processes.
- Ability to reason, form concepts and recognize and solve problems.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
- Must be attentive to potential hazards and remedy or place appropriate warning signs or devices around or near the hazard as soon as is reasonably possible.
- Must report any potential hazards that cannot be immediately remedied to a supervisor.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in related field and two or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education required.

- Continuously required to use close vision, distance vision, depth perception or the ability to focus.
- Frequently required to talk and hear.
- Frequently required to use hands for reaching, touching or handling.
- Frequently required to use fine finger movements (ex. sorting and typing).
- Frequently required to sit for long periods of time.
- Occasionally required to push, pull, maneuver or lift objects up to 40 lbs.

- Occasionally required to stand or walk.
