Job Summary
Provides administrative support to category management through data entry of advertised product information. Responsible for ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and adherence to Company standards. Supports the ad planning process by monitoring and validating data files, and processing data changes for all store banners.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs accurate data entry functions for category products across all Company store banners. Maintains ad libraries and ensures accuracy of product information in the system.
- Assists category management personnel with ad templates and processes database changes in SAP.
- Responsible for ensuring accuracy and completeness of scales and related information.
- Investigates and resolves questions from retail personnel related to ad pricing and scanning communication.
- Monitors and validates electronic data files submitted by category management personnel.
- Addresses category management system data issues for new store openings and store closings.
- Coordinates the preparation, development, and execution of advertising vehicles up to the point the information is provided to the marketing department.
- Communicates item-specific information, such as ad pricing and scanning information, to retail partners through various forms of communication.
- Provides accounting department with information to resolve billing discrepancies related to vendor payments.
- Serves as liaison for category management and other areas of the business regarding vendor and product article-related support.
- Serves as a direct contact with vendors and schedules appointments as needed. Assists with completing new vendor application processes as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Intermediate knowledge of SAP reporting and transactional applications.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Basic mathematical skills for calculating discounts, interest, and percentages.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and productivity.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
- Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to research information, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret information.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications
- High school Diploma or GED required.
- Three or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education required.
