Job Summary
Coordinates display plan efforts for store operations in conjunction with multiple departments. Ensures accurate quantities of display products are allocated to distribution centers and stores. Communicates new and updated display plan and allocation information to partners in store operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Works with partners in category management, inventory control, merchandising and distribution to coordinate ad and display plans and related product shipment for store operations.
- Ensures accurate display item quantities are ordered and prompt delivery of products to distribution centers.
- Allocates products to stores to support ads and display plans displays and collaborates with distribution to enable strategic scheduling of product shipment.
- Communicates new and updated ad and display plans and allocations to partners in store operations. Methods include verbal communication, email and posting information to company portal.
- Performs other tasks as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word.
- Intermediate knowledge of SAP reporting and transactional applications.
- Basic mathematical skills required.
- Basic knowledge and familiarity of Business Intelligence (BI) and Adobe software systems.
- Basic knowledge of retail/grocery industry.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office application including Access, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret information.
- Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to research information, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to learn new technology systems, methods and processes.
- Ability to reason, form concepts and recognize and solve problems.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
- Ability to show information in presentation or diagram form.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and manage time.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
- Ability to occasionally travel to off-site and out-of-town locations with possible overnight stays.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Must be attentive to potential hazards and remedy or place appropriate warning signs or devices around or near the hazard as soon as is reasonably possible.
- Must report any potential hazards that cannot be immediately remedied to a supervisor.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications
- High school Diploma or GED required.
- Four or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and higher education required.
- Associate’s degree in related field preferred.
- Minimum of 18 years of age required.
