Job Summary

Coordinates signage and décor for new, remodel, and re-image improvement projects.  Assists the project team in the development of project planning and design.  Provides production assistance of planning documents as well as planning and design support services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinates specifications, fabrication, and installation of new signage and décor with various vendors.
  • Assists in facility assessments through job site visits and verifies “as-built” conditions.
  • Evaluates existing buildings to be remodeled via performing on-site measurements and surveys.
  • Works with department leadership to design and produce various drawings through AutoCAD and submits for approval.
  • Obtains input for new and remodel projects from planning leadership to assist development of new store designs.
  • Coordinates with various departments within company retail facilities for store planning and design.
  • May serve as the design/fabrication leader for the in-house sign department.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Intermediate knowledge of construction drawings and specifications.
  • Intermediate knowledge of the AutoCAD program and design tool.
  • Intermediate knowledge of design software: Flexi, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Intermediate mathematical skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP reporting and transactional applications.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and productivity.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
  • Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to research information, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret information.
  • Ability to learn new technology systems, methods, and processes.
  • Ability to reason, form concepts and recognize and solve problems.
  • Ability to show information in presentation or diagram form.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to occasionally travel to off-site and out-of-town locations with possible overnight stays.
  • Must be attentive to potential hazards and remedy or place appropriate warning signs or devices around or near the hazard as soon as is reasonably possible.
  • Must report any potential hazards that cannot be immediately remedied to a supervisor.

 

Education, Experience, and Qualifications

  • High school Diploma or GED required. 
  • Two or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education required.
  • Associate's degree in related field preferred.
  • Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy.
