Job Summary

Prepares, assembles, ships, and delivers print orders, requested store supplies, marketing kits, and other orders as needed. Supports print operations by performing additional tasks such as generating stock cutting requests and quality control on point-of-sale materials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains inventory of stock items and fills retail and corporate orders daily.
  • Prepares and assembles printed material into kits for shipping.
  • Provides backup for finishing equipment including laminators, guillotine paper cutters, banding machines, etc. as needed.
  • Assists in sorting and packaging weekly retail pricing kits.
  • Assists in quality control of outgoing printed materials.
  • Assists with special event printing projects as needed.
  • Operates forklift machine to deliver marketing kits to warehouse.
  • Performs pickups and deliveries of items on and off-site using company vehicle.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Basic knowledge of inventory management.
  • Basic knowledge of packaging and shipping procedures.
  • Ability to review and comprehend documents such as job orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to safely operate finishing equipment.
  • Ability to use knives, box cutters and precision hand tools
  • Ability to operate a forklift/pallet jack and other hazardous equipment.
  • Ability to learn new technology systems, methods and processes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written or verbal form.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret information.
  • Ability to research information, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to reason, form concepts, and recognize and solve problems.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage time.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
  • Ability to occasionally travel to off-site and out-of-town locations with possible overnight stays.
  • May be required to drive in accordance with the BGC Driver policy.
  • Must be attentive to potential hazards and remedy or place appropriate warning signs or devices around or near the hazard as soon as is reasonably possible.
  • Must report any potential hazards that cannot be immediately remedied to a supervisor.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Typically involves on-the-job training.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age required.
  • Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy.

  • Continuously required to use close vision, distance vision, depth perception or the ability to focus.
  • Frequently required to use hands for reaching, touching or handling.
  • Frequently required to push, pull, maneuver or lift objects up to 60 lbs.
  • Frequently required to use fine finger movements (ex. sorting and typing).
  • Frequently required to bend, kneel or squat.
  • Frequently required to climb, balance, stoop or crawl.
  • Frequently required to stand or walk.
  • Occasionally required to talk and hear.
  • Occasionally required to sit for long periods of time.
  • Occasionally required to drive.
